I'm not sure why a heavier spring is needed for the AT44 . Like many others with 75% bore size porting the stock spring is capable of supporting 75 fpe . On the BT65 however, a heavier spring is needed as well as a longer adjusting screw to go any bigger than say 95fpe ( with full bore porting of course). The biggest limiting factor to getting beyond the 100 fpe in either models is the length of bullets that will fit the magazines (or single loading for that matter) Since I went on a power chasing trip with my BT65 and hitting the 94 FPE mark I have detuned the gun to shoot 45 gr at around the 850fps mark. I sure wish Hatsan would open up the breach another .150" and match with a magazine to fit longer projectiles.I believe the BT 65 would make a great .257 cal repeater.
On a side note ,a 500 cc ,4500 PSI regulated bottle kit for this platform would be awesome. It would have to maintain at least a 100ci plenum of course .Something due to the 1 CI per FPE rule somebody came up with .

Denis you read my mind, this platform can indeed be a .257 hammer!

I needed a heavier spring due to the fact I had no spring adjustment after installing and adjustable hammer striker but I have since remedied that. Ill post pics in a bit.

An adjustable hammer, does sound quite interesting. Will it be adjustable from the outside if the gun or will you have to take the action apart to access it?

I milled off original solid striker and used the spring adjuster under it to adjust valve dwell then added and adjustable spring tensioner from rear to supply needed pre-load adjustment. Simple and effective.

Some products I'm working on for the Hatsan line. Top is our depinger that fits the BT65 and is done, Middle is drop down with barrel band that is underway and one piece valve based off our WAR valve with interchangable seats.

Like I said Ive been very busy both mocking up new products tuning air rifles and getting our new rifle to market shortly plus running WAR. I love what I do and couldnt do it without all the support from the GTA and its members.

That is some good looking progress . Does the tank block attach directly to the end of the action ? That wouldn't allow for a big plenum just wondering .

When are we going to be able to buy the bottle and de-pinger? Thanks for this and keep the good work.
