Condor SS Chrony Benji 27.8 gr Hi/Low Power Wheel

Just wanted to get a base line of adjustment of power wheel before I stick the TTQC tophat in to run heavy's .. Low FPS is with STOCK Condor w/spring preload wheel @ 0.. High FPS is wheel maxed out.. Both with Benji 27.8 gr domed..  I had a tin of them that grouped great!! This tin is a no go.. Some of the pellets fall out of breech when trying to load!! Just using this tin of em as fodder.. Had high hopes from last tin, so this is bummer..

Two 3 shot groupings is of 31 gr Barracudas at 850 +/- FPS 25 yd.. Easy dimes, not taking my time at all..

Have you tried using JSB Kings?  I have great luck with them.

Hahahaa!.. No that sling was from a hunt on private land in Okanagon county.. Regulation was blaze orange anything, clothing, scarf, headband, hat, etc.. The Land owner actually set Me up with that.. Really just left it on for no reason..

I do want to find a way to single point sling it from the front, where it's attached now..

I'd like to add a sling to my Talon SS.  I don't want to use the AirForce sling studs, because I've read multiple reports of the c-clips failing.  I might look into a picatinny sling stud adapter for the muzzle end of the gun, and then maybe drill a hole through the bottom of the buttstock.

As far as pellets, I second the suggestion for the 18.13gr JSB Exact Kings.  These have worked flawless in 3 different AirForce guns that I've used.

Oh yea, the .25 cal 25 gr JSB are the best pellet for this rifle.. It seems like it was made for it..

I lost the inserts for my ttqc tophat, and the stock valve shoots them to fast.. with the dial below two, or three the velocities are inconsistent.. Mine likes the wheel around 4-8 to shoot consistent, but then the 25gr are cooking around 1000+ fps.. When I find my inserts I will run the 25gr JSB kings..

I'm gonna try the new JSB heavies, and burn up some of the EunJ's 43gr on high power, and see if they will group better since I discovered lubing helps.. Right now she's liking ptfe lubed Barracuda 31gr @around 940fps..

I gotta dig up a o-ring for behind the tophat too, to see how it will calm down the ttqc and the stock tophat velocities..

I put a rubber washer behind the top hat, and it didn't cut the speed down any.  However, it almost doubled my shot count from 2900psi to 2000psi.

Oh yes... I use the o-ring behind the top hat trick!  Works very good for me as well.  I get many more shots. PA should be getting the new heavy Kings in soon.  I see they have preorder on them.  33.95g should slow that puppy down a bit.  The bc looks awesome from some of the reports I've seen.
