I just want to say that the LDC I got from Bwalton is the best money I've spent this year. POI did NOT change one little bit. This thing ROCKS!!!!!

No I enjoy the friends in this hobby its more about you guys then it is about me......I have been in a lot of hobbies, and had a lot of hobby related friends, out of all of them the two tops are RC boat racing and airguns, I found both to have an abundance of great friendship!

Mine are Airguns, RC quadcopters and astrophotography.....just cool to see other enthusiast aligned with some of the same hobbies! I wonder how many more of us have some parallels?

Same here. I need to dust my gear off and "shoot" with it. Maybe a trip to the zoo is in order.

While I have not purchased an LDC from Bwalton since I don't have a need at this time, I would if I did due to all the positive comments I have read about his work.

I agree. Recently I was going back and forth asking a member about valve mods and he told me to send them to him for him to do the mods because he has a lathe and could do a lot more than just plugging the air holes. My rifles turned out great.

the ldc in .25 cut the noise down enough I can shoot it with out the ear splitting ringing any more, I really did not expect these gun to be so loud- Baxter's work is great , I can find no flaw in this design or workmanship .

I wanted to do a head to head against the QE systems, and a couple other LDC's out there , but have since decided not to bother- the QE is not as user friendly as Bwalton LDC.

unless we can do a gathering of Hatsan's , QE's with other LDC's that I know are out there , one day the data will come out--.

but these where so light and added no felt extra "up front" made my bt65 .25 fun to shoot now...

I am curious about what you mean when you say the QE is not as user friendly as Bwalton LDC. I am getting ready to get a Hatsan at44 -10 but am stuck on whether to get the long, short, or non qe and put a LDC on it.

1) LDC's can be removed as they are be threaded on; the ones Baxter makes use CFT and are lightweight. All PCP's are easier to handle with shorter barrels, all things considered.
However, in many jurisdictions, removeable LDC's are illegal

2) QE's are NOT considered illegal as they are permanently attached to the barrel. However, because of their length, they look clumsy, make the gun more difficult to handle, hence they may be considered less user friendly?

Also, a well made LDC is quieter than a Hatsan QE.

Kirk not cft, but very light aluminum and CF tape...The QE series can be removed if you have a socket set with you. Mine I advise that they put on with blue loctite and make it more permanent. I never take mine off once putting on, no reason to, Not even when cleaning the barrel because you have to remove the barrel any way.

its better to drop the two set screws and pull the barrel, why because if your gun is sited in taking the ldc on and off a lot will or can make things change. if my rifle is shooting good I will not mess with anything on the barrel.

right now I am looking at another at44- this time .22-

even with a killer deal for the QE I will be spending a bit more for the regular barrel, and get another Baxter ldc- for that also-
IF for some reason the thing needs to be taken down the fit a case...the thread on part
makes it easier-

I do have a QE 177 at44- I like it but....the QE does give you the longer rail on top-
we need ( I want) the long scope rail, wood stock- reg barrel with after market LDC-
that's my personal take
