I too carried a Plymouth Model 25 everywhere during the 50's. Killed hundreds of birds and rodents with it. Loved it and even though I've had many guns in the years since, I wanted another. For the life of me I can't remember what I did with it or what happened to it. Recently, one of my brothers passed away and I found a Plymouth Model 25 in his stuff. I've figured out it was made about 1954, which would have been the correct vintage to have been my gun. My brother never owned a BB gun during those years. This one is in pretty nice condition but the stock has a little bow in it. I'm looking for a replacement stock. The trigger spring was missing and I replaced that, but when I tried to shoot it, I found the seals were totally shot. You shoulda put your initials on it then you'd have no doubt that it was yours.I just sent it off to be rebuilt. When I get it back, it's going to be my gun of yore, even if it ain't!To continue, about 25 or more years ago I bought a Rogers Model 25 with the gold paint scroll work. It was apart in three pieces and in a box. Not, at that time understanding the mechanism and busy with work, I was going to send it to Daisy for rebuild but never did. I got it out a few weeks ago and figured it out. It too needed a trigger spring, so I put one in and assembled it. It works and shoots great.I couldn't help myself and bought one of the new Chinese made 25's as well. It seems pretty well built and works well. I think the power is down a little though. So now, it's just shoot, shoot, shoot!Herman
