I am soon considering a kit for my .22 35E. I was wondering about the 12fpe kit Vortek sells. The 35 specs out around 10fpe and I'm wondering if the 12fpe kit would make the shot cycle harsh. I'm PAL compliant so upgrading is legal for me here in Canada. I am not interested in the SHO kit but would be interested in folks results and reviews, please?
The gun shoots nice but does have some twang.

I have a modern day HW35 that is a couple of years old in .22. Initially it was pretty harsh and boingy. I installed a PG2 kit and it settled down substantially. Still a little torquey, but little recoil and a solid thump. My only complaint is it takes more effort to cock. It is shooting at around 620 fps with Crosman 14.3 gr pellets.
