Scope recommendations 97K stainless

I'm going to use it for my long range (+50 yards) pest shooter. Weight is not a factor, won't be shooting off-hand. My budget is $500, will order BKL 2 strap rings for it. It has to be short, with side focus, I had a 4X16X50 on it that completely covered the loading port. Made it difficult to load with my hands being like a catchers mitt. Glass etched, fine reticle, mil-dot, 16X minimum, more would be a +. These are my needs. OK all you enablers, help me out!

In that price range I would be looking at Hawke Sidewinder or Optisan Viper, although I have never owned either so I can not confirm if they are "short" enough the leave your loading port completely unobstructed.

Ordered a MTC Genesis 5X20X50 in silver (of course!) to go with the stainless from Trenier. Will be mounted with BKL 2 strap rings in silver. The Rowan Engineering Adj. Butt Pad is already been fitted on the beech stock I bought for it. This will be my only "blinged out" air rifle, all my others are the synthetic, strictly functional style rifles I prefer.
