Bushnell Elite Tactical Mil-Dot SFP Reticle ERS Riflescope, 4.5-30x50mm

Any one have one of these?

Looks like a nice scope but only focuses down to 25 yards.

Was wondering if that would be to blurry at say 10 yards?

looking for a real good scope in this range. Both power, price and features as well as optical performance.

Pretty safe assumption a parallax set at 25 yards WILL INDEED be blurry at 10

yea, what i thought...really like every thing I've read about that scope thou. just won't cut it on an air rifle that gets shot indoors on a short range once in awhile. Sure wish it focused down to 10 yards or so.

I thought id just buy a Hawke but not all the reviews are that great. A lot of complaints about clarity at the higher magnifications. I for one value clarity over magnification. Of course i want them both .

I have a couple cheap scopes, like a Center Point i got at Wally World, and thats alright on something your only going to put minimum rounds thru, but I'm looking for something to spend a lot of time behind and looking thru.

A lot of the scopes with similar specs as this Bushy cost twice as much.

any suggestions?

The Bushnell Elite 3-12x44, side turret parallax will focus 10 yards.

In my, admitted very limited experience, that would be at maximum mag but if the mag were reduced, a 10 yard target should come into focus. If you can have someone test it for you, either over the phone or in person, have them sight thru the scope at a target at 10 yards & adjust magnification until it comes into focus. If ever.

Another possible option is to find out if Bushnell can adjust the parallax down to 10 yards. Added expense but if you really like the scope it might be worth it to you.

As for alternatives, SWFA has some very nice swfa branded scopes. Lots of features at a great price.

But I'm really partial to the Bushnell G2 reticle & have my eye on a FFP SP tactical that can be had for under $800 with some shopping around.

i will try to contact Bushnell and ask them if it can be adjusted.

I really want a lot of magnification on the long end. Like being able to back off in the bush. I find this scope a nice size/weight for the specs also.

And for 7 bills or so.
