HAWKE Sport HD 3-9x40 AO vs Mod 125 ??

İ'm currently having some issues with my bundled scope of mod 125 sniper and toght that an upgrade would be helpfull... I find that HAWKE Sport HD 3-9x40 AO is suiting my budget but im worrying about spring gun's harsh recoil essipecially in a gun like mod 125 AKA scopekiller...

i wouldnt have any money left after purchased the scope so dampa mounts is not an option for now.

i would like to hear your oppinions and experiances with this scope or any other sport hd with a magnum springer.

I don't have one on a springer but I remember reading of them holding up very well.  I'm sure one of the members with personal experience will chime in and give you good advice.  I do have a couple on powder burners and I love them.

I've asked Hawke customer service about my 350 vs POI shifting.
 
They suggested 3 features = mono-tube, glass etched reticle and the erector tube with a coil spring (instead the usual leaf spring).  At the Hawke's site I found some Endurance models.

Before buying a Sport model, I think you should ponder about using their warranty service.

I'd ask the people at Hawke directly, either by phone or email.  Although I've had a Hawke Sporte 3-9 X 40 on my Nitro Venom for a couple of years with no complaints I understand it is not rated for magnum air rifles.  It is recommended not to get the IR version if putting it on an air rifle.

I have heard they stand behind their lifetime warranty really well but I have no experience there.  I have three Hawkes but no complaints or problems.

Based on my 350 vs spring consistency, I think you have 2 factors to consider = recoil grade + accumulated number of rounds.
For instance, a Diana 3-9x 40 AO on a Diana 1 piece mount, the POI shifting has started after estimated "5" k rounds. After about "2" k rounds, I had POI shifting with a Gamo 4x32 and with a Nikko Stirling Airking 4x32, both on a dampa mount DM 60. 

So, no matter what brand/model, I think the warranty policy, and related shipping costs to your location, are a 'must' to you consider.

Just thinking.., you may consider to reduce some power while on a budget; sooner or later you'll have to replace your current spring, so, you could cut "some" coils by now..

So youre saying that no mather the scope or mount that i use i will always get a shift in the zero.. my concern is not realy losing zero after 5k shots and rezeroing the gun but loosing the scope because of the recoil.. i will be happy to rezero my gun after 5k shots..
edit: i dont want to "de-tune" my gun because the power is the reason why i choose it, i would sell this and get a mod 99 or mod 95 rather than detuning mod 125

In general, I don't think you're going to find a simple answer to accomplish a "breakeven".  What I have read at the forums is people taking their chances by trial and error (considering warranty policies).

To your specific question, and as Roadworthy said, I also think you should ask Hawke directly.

Is hawke warranty includes breakings because of rifle ? That would be nice.. by the way i send a mail to hawke about sport hd series so i will paste the answer here as soon as it gets here, it may come handy for other people..

I contacted Hawke Service yesterday, after some miscommunication, they really came through with flying colors.
I have been offered a Sport HD IL 3-9 x 40 that was used in a display for my baseline Sport. The original scope he suggested for me, in my price range, will not be out until August. If this scope does not hold up, Hawke will let me use this scope's list price to go to my upgraded scope. I feel it is a win-win for me. The tracking numbers say I can expect my new scope in this Monday.

I'm a bit slow sometimes and I just noticed you're in Turkey.  Choose your scope carefully.  If you ever need to return a scope on warranty that will probably entail you paying shipping back to the factory and possibly return shipping to you as well.  This could become prohibitive.  I have no clue what customs and possible taxes would add.

Choose wisely.  Even a free warranty repair may not be worth it.

Road- Nothing is free. If this scope flops and I have to send it back, I'm looking at over $36.00 bucks in return shipping cost alone.

I have a Hawke Sport HD 3-9x40 (Bud's Gunshop-$54) on my Diana 48.  I've put at least 5 tins of pellets thru the rifle since mounting the scope in a Hawke 1-piece mount and have had no POI shifts or problems of any kind.  I communicated by email and was told that all their scopes are springer rated.  My Hatsan 85 killed a Hawke 4x and they replaced it no questions asked.  Can't guarantee you the same results but this has been my experience.

Here is the latest rendition, of a Leaper's UTG mag rated 3-9x scope that I started with (years ago), on my magnum springer rifles.  Very tough scope with good quality.  Today's model is parallax corrected to 35yds.  Something you may wanna look at.  Here's the Mfr Link:
