Watching the news at the moment....and yeah, that was a pretty bad earthquake. Lots of injured and dead (200+ dead so far...not confirmed yet).

I miss all the fun....
just checked the news..yer you are right..
nar guys I live 300kms north of Christchurch..
and was driving in the other direction at 12:51pm....
this one has caused a lot more damage than the September one...
A bit smaller but right under the city & only 5km deep.. 6.3
where the September one was 30km out and 33km deep... 7.1
not seen any pics yet..but they say littleton & New Brighton are all but gone..
littleton is the oldest part of the city at the port and built on a near cliff...
New Brighton is built on a sand spit...
we will see just how bad it is in the next few days...

you fella's have a rescue team in the air on there way to christchurch...
along with Austraila/Japan/England...
the Japs have a lot of search dogs with them...
the place has been trashed....
