Under $200 is tough. A Crosman 800x maybe. For $230 you can get a benji trail which gives you the benefit of a ram along with the power. Definitely stick with .22 though

my airhawk in .177 is shooting 900fps w/ CPH.
ok, i'll get it started at 115 right now on pyramyd bang for buck that's $6/fpe

then the airhawk is out since it's only 177.
but i've seen reports of the b25 which is the same gun but comes in .22 at 638 using 14g JSBs.

well, as usual your milage may vary but mine is actually around 900 on the chrony w/ 10.5g CP
last time I chrony'd it was at mike melick's shop this weekend.

Yea actually the TF 89 or Jet would dominate just about all others and they are affordable. They just require a bit more technique to shoot

based on comments on the compesseco tf87 page it looks like it hits about 20fpe and for $190 that's $9.50/fpe
the jet is over $200 on their site
But if any of the tf97 or 58 get close to advertised they be in the running for $:fpe

Tech Force 89 is a great gun for hunting.I put 3-12X40 Leapers on mine and its a lethal combo.You can get the gun and a decent 3-9 for your 200 bucks.I dont have a crony but with 16 grain polymags I put a hurtin on a few nutters out past 30 yards no problem.

The TF58 is a sidelever and looks like a good buy from PA. Have my eye on the TF99 as well.
