NP2 Trigger 1st stage, 2nd stage issue

Before my NP2 was broken in and before I experimented on it with various modifications, I noticed at times the trigger did not seem to have a first stage. It did not happen often at first but became more frequent as the gun was braking in.
Then I installed a Tuna Trigger and I did not happen again. Well, I played around with the stock trigger powder coated it and made a few mods to it and put it back in the gun. Had to have my gold trigger like the one on my old NP. Long story short, don't modify a trigger unless you know what you a lot more than I thought I did. Now even with my CBR trigger the gun was still and more frequently seating differently.
Put a call into Crosman and told them of my original issue with the trigger. After turning down their offer ship the gun back to them, they kindly sent me a a new trigger, primary sear, secondary sear and spacers. When I compared the original sears the new ones, I could see very little wear. The original sears just had a nice polished look to them. I must have shot at least fifteen to twenty tins though it, maybe more.
Before changing anything out, I looked over the whole trigger package. This is when I noticed the trigger pack housing was slightly over bent towards the front. I believe this kept the trigger from seating in it's forward position and at times did not allow it to fully engage. This is a stamped part so, all I had to do was open up the front just a hair, replace the CBR and seems to be working fine. I ran close to fifty shots through it without an issue.
I did make a couple changes that may not make a difference. On the primary sear there are two spacers and none on the secondary sear, so I took the extra set of spacers and put them on each side of the secondary sear. Also, I had a little side to side play in the trigger so I added a brass bushing on the trigger.
While the gun was down, I was tempted to replace the fairly new replacement Crosman piston seal with the JM seal I have but, really want to get some before and after chrony numbers first.

Oh, I know Crosman was in no way obligated to cover this. I fully intended to pay for the parts and there would not have been any hard feelings on my part, if I had to pay for the items. It was not until I offered my card number did I realize they were going to cover this. They took my word that I had an issue before breaking into the gun. I had mentioned it when I requested a new piston seal. I did not request the trigger parts then. I thought the problem would stop after I cleaned and deburred the gun.
This gun is by no means a bad apple. The average air rifle owner could have shot this gun for many many years right out of the box. I made this gun a project gun. One you might call it a labor of love or what my wife calls it a crazy obsession.
