New air rifle from KRAL (King) Arms from Turkey

That reciver really looks like a close copy of the Rainstorm in many aspects, the 280cc airtube is exactly what the Rainstorm is, wander if they buy Tubes and fill port from Evanix

My first thought was it looked very much like a Rainstorm. If it is the same price as an At44, and can be tuned to get 50 shots at ~28fpe, and shoots good, they have a winner.

Ok here are my findings, the barrel is about 21 inches, unchoked with well defined lands and grooves. The air tube measures 30 mm across and the inner length is 360 mm which puts the reservoir at about 254 cc. The transfer port is 4 mm at max and has a power wheel to limit it (a problem that has occurred with this wheel is that it has a tendency of rotating on its own during firing.

A friend of mine has a gun store and sells these, he let me examine a dozen of them. A few of them had what seems to be a common problem; the fill probe won't go all the way inside the fill port. We took some of these rifles apart and found that the problem was caused by the stem on the fill valve poppet it was protruding inside the fill port. I filed the stem on a couple that had that problem and they worked fine.

The valve seems to have an o-ring that helps seal the air tube with the poppet?? Not sure if this is an o-ring though it is a lot stiffer that an o-ring (I didn't want to take it out and ruin it when I didn't know what it was)

That's Evanix copy for sure. Actually I think Evanix itself is a copy of something else but never mind that. Could you measure the valve tunnel nose OD (the part that goes inside breech) and poppet stem and seal diameters for us? That suspected o-ring where the poppet seats is not rubber but metal and part of that valve tunnel nose, the same as in Evanix guns.

The Evanix look a likes are starting to pop up by the numbers, Jkhan, Now this one.... Maybe more to follow? Maybe they are selling the parts in bulk and companies are using the parts I don't know? Gamo and BSA we know the deal with them, I am trying to figure out how this design got all the way to Turkey

Webley Venom Sidewinder was yet another version of that gun but I don't know whether it was the original or rebranded.

Another question, could you stick a 14mm diameter barrel in to that breech. I.e. is there enough room to bore the barrel tunnel out to that diameter?

the blade does, but all the underneath is exactly like the Rainstorm trigger, the exposed hammer on the side, the HS plug, the sidelever configuration,...this guys did a good copycat job for sure.

+1   Even the safety selector lever is the same. Wasn't the Rainstorm also a knock off of another gun? Maybe a Webley or something?

Hi Everyone
The Puncher just arrived to UK market about 3 weeks ago and advertised with very high price for unknown reason? the price of the rifle here is £500!.
I doubt it if any one will buy this rifle in the UK for this price.
The rifle get sold in turkey for £180 include a 3-9x32 scope.
The rifle is cheaper than the Hatsan 44 in Turkey and more expensive in UK?
The price don't make any sense to me but it must be a good reason for that (I hope).

The name Kral Arms does ring a bell... soon as I remembered in 2006 i went to the gun show in Turkey -  So I called my dealer and got the rifle .177  Due to bad UK weather i have not had a go at the Puncher - My rifle comes with a life time warrantee every 6 -12 months hand it in for full service free of charge, I got Hawke ECLIPSE IR AO MIL-DOT - 4-16x50 AO IR Mil Dot scope all in the price of ? £   499.

And what about clips? They skip pellets and get stuck all the time so you need to go and buy new ones. It is such a big pain i changed 4 of them in a few days and all go faulty after loading them couple of times

Clips is eating the needle which delivers pellets in the barrel and the Clip itself skips pellets, also pressure regulator turns by itself after few shots and you have to adjust it again and when you connect pump to a cylinder it will eat o rings on pumps connector, barrel is bigger then 4.5mm pellets go loose in it, but i have no accuracy problems so far. Mine is Kral Puncher Maxi 4.5cal

Kral was present at SHOT show, and I really tried to get some detailed information from them on their airgun line. I went back multiple times as it seems only one person who was there knew anything about their airguns, and when I finally did manage to talk to this person, we had quite a difficult time communicating with each other. I emailed them, hoping to get more details and the like, but I have not heard back from them as of yet.

I also had the same exact problem at shot show with them, I did email them as well...I think I am going to pass on them.
