Peep sight Q's (Got one that works and should work on many other springers)

I need a peep sight for my Stoeger X50. It is going to have to go on the 11mm dovetail as I am sure its impossible to find a proper setup to replace what is already there on the barrel. Having said that I have some measurements. From the center of the fiber on the front sight post to the center of the barrel it is 1". On the rear sight from the current 0, going from the fiber sight to the center of the barrel it is real close to 1 1/8". From the surface of the barrel to where the rear sights currently sit is 3/4".

Now having said that I am going to take off the rear sight all together when I get a peep sight. So it to will have to be real close to 3/4" from the base of the sight to the center of the elevation adjustment. The dovetail surface is not flat either (I dont know how big of a deal that is) I don't have a whole bunch of money to go throwing at this. So if someone has a suggestion on one that will work let me know. Also I use this rifle for hunting (a lot).

Additionally I heard that 3/8" dovetail stuff will work on 11mm, but I dont know if that throws off the center of the sight any as its not a perfect fit. And I was going to get a scope, but I really like iron sights. Plus this thing is a magnum springer and it would not be scope friendly.

I talked to Williams and they told me the FP-AG is the sight to use. They were saying something else but the phone was breaking up due to me driving in the country. Also that sight cost $75.

If anyone knows of a sight that might work let me know.

I am thinking the Williams 5D-AG will be the ticket. Its the tall version. The short version you would use on say a 392 is the 5D-GR. Now I just need to know if its rounded on the bottom or will fit a rounded receiver.

I got the 5D-AG in and mounted it. And it looks really good. And Wes from PA told me it wouldnt work. Ya, it will work and work a heck of a lot better than the factory sights.

I will have it 0'd in pretty soon. Already I can tell its much better to look through. It doesnt block everything and I can get the front sight on target much easier.
