The 50S will probably be too much for your wife to cock. I own both and the 30S is much easier to cock. 18 lbs VS about 30 lbs.

I like it very much. Only have about 500 shots thru it since tune. The trigger is nicer than stock, the cocking is slightly easier also. It's down about 15-20 fps from stock, but it's easier to shoot accurately than stock. Dan
