Found an action I forgot I started ;-)

I started moving some stuff around, and cleaning a bit, in order to get my shop re-opened. I found this Bullpup action that I had started before the injury to my arm had me sidelined for a while. This one is based on a scratch built action I called a "Trident" action, which I modded the breech on to accept a magazine, is barreled with a .22 ST bore, and is fitted with a regulator. Twin tube nets me @ 360cc's of air.



I took the photo of the action into photoshop, and started fooling around with concept for the stock.



I'll put this one in the que of work to complete once the doors are back open, and wood chips start to fly.

That is a sweet rifle.  Have always enjoyed your rifles, though have never been able to afford one or get my hands on one.

Glad you are getting back up and running.  Even if not for selling, must be good to get back working.  I always hate being away from work.

Woogie It is indeed kind of cool to at least be thinking about getting back into the shop. For a while there I was not sure if I even wanted to any longer. The weather is getting nicer, and the creative juices have been flowing in my head. Be a much slower pace now, and I need to still figure out how to accomplish some of the stuff I used to take for granted. But, hey, it is all steps forward, right?

I find my hobbies very therapeutic.  I enjoy spending time alone shooting, or just in the woods alone with my thoughts.  That works much better for me than the doctors at the VA and talking.

Do what you can do.  Just don't rush yourself and hurt anything again.


I would still give my rifle for one of your master pieces.

Wow. That is an incredible looking rifle. I am always blown away by the creativity of a skilled craftsman.

I recently visited a blacksmith who was making a huge metal sculpture for a business. Watching him mold the metal into something beautiful was almost overwhelming. I know we all have our gifts, but I have so much respect for people that can take ideas and make them real.

I am truly impressed. I hope you continue to get stronger. I admit I haven't seen your work before and don't know who you are. But if that is one you forgot about, I'd love to see the ones you haven't!  Cheers!
