The New .25 cal Predators

Hey Guys, I just wanted to give you a heads up on New .25 Cal Predators and how they Perform.I was fortunate to be asked to try out a few sample's,(and from the way these one's performed),these are going to be Devastating on small and medium game, as well as Great grouping pellets! I will also be posting some 10 shot groups once the first tin's land as I only had 3 sample packs to try and from what I've seen so far,(Well I can't wait to get the next one's)!
These New 25 cal Predators will work in real nice the Korean rifles as well,(and they shoot just Awesome in this 2500 500cc one of mine).I was really surprised that I had mine Zeroed for H&N Barracuda's, and the Predators hit in the same 5/8th's hole at 30 yards! They are not as long as you would think, as I think they were designed a bit shorter so there would be a wide selection of .25 cal rifles they would work well in. Stay tuned for some more testing and some 10 shot groups once I have a couple tins to work with,(as all Mr D from Predator International had was samples come in last week),but should have the first tin's in soon.
Thanks

Had heard rumors that JSB was going to make these available soon.
Must have been a real honor to get to try some samples.
Great news for all you folks with mid bores.

Hey Oldpink, that it was so. He was saying yesterday they should be out in March.I really appreciated being asked and can't wait for the next batch to drop and run some groups through, maybe by then my New Condor if all go's well.I think they're going to be great pellet for hunting.
Thanks,

The .25 Preds have been available on Pyramyd Air for a few weeks now. I just got mine in yesterday and tried them on my Condors today. They shoot GREAT! Very accurate, almost as good as the JSB 25.4 Kings. Extremely close!
They were accurate through a large velocity range. Accuracy did not change between 925pfs and 1,080fps. They also did great through the chrony. Very consistent and fit the breach of my .25's just slightly better than the Kings (a bit tighter).
I was very pleased because the .22 Predators were not too accurate in my .22 Condor. The groups with these 26gr .25 Preds were tight and only about 1/4" to the left of where the Kodiaks and JSB Kings shoot at 30yds. Elevation was exactly the same as the others. So I won't be adjusting the windage for them. I will just slightly compensate. A few shots went in the same hole and I was like where the hek did it go. Then the next one I got in the same hole, I saw some wood splinters fly everywhere and that's how I knew. It tore the hek out of my 2x6" and the impact was at least 30% louder than the Kodies and Kings. The Preds made the biggest holes on the paper out of any .25 pellet I have tested. However they did not penetrate the wood as deep as the others, but that is because it is a true Hollow Point afterall, so it's not supposed to. This pellet would be devestating to any game that is unfortunate enough to be in my crosshairs

Just got my .25's in and have to say i agree with harry's post 100%. In my Walther falcon hunter these pellets shot to the same point of impact as my other favorite pellet, the JSB 25.4 king. Accuracy as mentioned was possibly a bit less but still very accurate. As Harry mentioned the Pred penetrates the least of any pellet i've used on account of the soft lead and the design. Some of the pellets literally were round balls after going through the first layer of 1/4" rubber mat before stopping on a 3/4" plywood backing. Other .177 and .22 pellets have gone through the mat and the plywood both so i question whether in a relatively slow velocity springer like the .25 Walther, if the predators would be viable on much more than rabbits or squirrels, on birds they would be devestating. In a pcp like the condor or sumatra i could see them working well for medioum sized game. In the springers i don't think so.
Excellent JSB build quality and consistency. I'll be shooting lots of these. J
