Now for Gun Racks

Well I did push the button the other day on a new gun rack. Really needed a couple of them but will wait and see what the one I ordered from Sportsmansguide will look like when set up and if it will be stable enough. Looking forward to posting pictures of it with some of my guns.

Looks like one of the best deals that I have seen but I will find out and do a report.

I made my own gun rack. I was debating on the style u have but heard that u shouldn't store springers vertically.

I saw those in my magazine that came in Mr. Gene an was going to mention them to ya,Glad you already found them. I think you need a couple of the corner rack's also,Well maybe a couple dozen of them LOL!?!

I am building this one at present. There are others on the site that can get ideas from.
What is this about storing vertical ?  I have been doing that for many years.

I made a nice rack out of an unassembled pine bookcase I bought at Wal-Mart. All the shelves were adjustable except the center one, so before assemby I cut notches in the self so it holds 6 rifles. Only used the top adjustable shelf. Gave like $60 for the bookcase "kit". Probably could have bought the pine boards for less, but assembly would have taken a lot longer. 

I have been storing springers standing up, butt down for a couple of years. It keeps the lube from migrating into the compression area.

ohh well there you go.  It must be not to store them barrel down,, but who does that anyway?  I dunno I thought I read before not to store like that but either way.
The good thing about the rack gene has is it can store alot of guns in a smaller area.

I got my 6 place corner magnetic rack in today. Couldn't wait to assemble it and stash my herd that had scattered over the range of the house.
Well, the rack is nice but.....it will not hold 6 rifles with 40mm or larger scopes. It will hold 3 with large scopes and 3 non-scoped guns. Or 6 with 32mm or smaller scopes.
So, I'm religated to putting just my 3 Benjis on it and leaving 3 slots open.
Got mine from Sportsman's Guide for $55 shipped free after buying a 1 year membership.
