Hw97k cocking mechanism giving me problems (fixed) accuracy problem (fixed)

Trigger adjusted and working!   false alarm  hehe
   I went from darn near perfect accuracy for the last week to the POI actually jumping a 1/2 and still staying accurate but in newly shifted POI.  that happened last night and I went out after work and the POI stills seems to be moving around.  Scope seems tight. Could the scope be going bad?    Of course the bad shots could be me but after  pinpoint accuracy on darn near every shot for the last week I just don't think its me. Its the same pellets also.

Bummer  just went out and shot some more and now I cant  use the gun .  The gun is firing when I release the safety.

Hi Joe   The trigger screw was completely loose,I mean if it can physically fall out then it must have been about to.    As mentioned above I was having accuracy problems which I just couldn't figure out.  This morning still having problems so I decided to check the stock screws as i have tried everything else .  They were a bit loose also.   Tightened them up and bang  gun is perfectly accurate once again. Crazy how a little thing like that can throw everything off.

Ive found that the King Screw tension , at the rear or the rifle Trigger Guard is critical . Have it TIGHT !!
 The other two , either side of the forend need to be tight as well , but "dont wring their neck", just snug em up with a little blue "threadlocker" to "lock em up tight" ( clue ) with an appropriate product .
 My Weihrauch 97K is rediculously accurate , smooth and a pleasure to shoot with.
 I've just found out from "Hull Cartrige" in UK that its a 2008 manufactured rifle. Beautiful .

While the Rekord trigger is one of the best sporter triggers, it really isn't a match trigger designed to work with ounces of pull weight.

The way I adjust my Rekord triggers is to hold the uncocked gun muzzle up and loosen the slotted adjustment screw till the trigger blade falls of it's own weight, then I turn the adjustment screw clockwise till the trigger blade rises to it stops rising, then tighten the screw one half turn more.

The screw I call the "forbidden screw" is a small torx screw used to adjust the sear engagement and can only be adjusted with the trigger guard removed. This screw on my R9s have always had "Lawyer proof setting" because the gun will become dangerous with too little sear engagement. There is a tab in front of the trigger that limits the forward position of the trigger blade and the length of the 1st stage travel. I personally like a bit of 1st stage, but not as much as the factory setting allows so I bent the tab back toward the trigger a BIT. Again, if too much 1st stage travel is removed the trigger becomes dangerous.
