BSA Cat Eye Scope durability?

I have a BSA 312x44AO Cat Eye i'd like to put on my new NP XL1500. The BSA website says it's shock proof but I'm thinking that's more about being knocked around in a truck or on a hunt vs the shock of an nitro piston air rifle. Opinions?

Well I can't say much about a mag. nitro piston AR but a medium power AR I can say that mine functioned very well for a year before I changed the scope out for one with mil-dots. The cat eye is a great clear scope and I would rate it high up there for its price. It's great for target shooting but if you are planning on doing any hunting it time consuming trying to click your range and by time you get it all set the game is usually gone at least that's the way it always happens to me.
