Scott Finished the Walther

I shot a couple in the alley (Yep, we have those in California) behind Scott's shop.

It also got a Piston cavity liner installed to reduce twang along with full Krytox lube tune.
Not really a stock rifle anymore

CalMark had me shoot it last Fall at Ione in the hopes I would buy it.
Mark brought it to Placerville, I left it with Scott and ordered the trigger.
Now, for a few coats of hand-rubbed BLO.

That sure is sweet looking   I love the checkering design they have on them and with a motorhead tune it's gonna be a tack driver for sure

The Walther has a plastic trigger as standard,
The company offers a metal ""tuning trigger" as an option.
I guess they didn't want spend the additional $25.00 (price to me) and include it on a $600.00 rifle.

Beautiful rifle, and sounds like she's smooth as silk too.
I couldn't agree more with you on the whole trigger issue.  Sometimes I think the people who make such decisions are smoking crack.

The metal tuning trigger due to the increased mass didn't pass the bump test requred to sell the rifle in the lawsuit happy country we live in.  Plastic being lighter passed those tests and allowed the Walthers to be sold here.  At least we have to option to purchase the upgraded trigger and install it ourself.
