Beeman R9 Front Trigger Guard Screw

My friend gave me his Beeman R9 which is missing the front trigger guard screw.

Does anyone know what that screws dimensions are or where to get new one or two??

The screw will be metric, available at Lowe's, Home Depot, or Ace.  It is probably the size that uses a 3mm Allen wrench.  I have no idea what length would be appropriate.  The parts breakdown should give that info.  You should be able to find a parts breakdown on the  Pyramyd or Chambers site.

The screw is a bit of an oddball M7-1mm x32mm long. Actually, 30mm long will work just fine and may be of benefit if the stock wood has been crushed under the trigger guard from excess tightening. I thought I had an old one to send you since I replaced my slotted R9 screw with a home turned socket head version, but a search didn't find it. Funny thing is that you can find 6mm and 8mm hardware almost anywhere, but 7mm....not so much.

If you can't find the screw I could make up one for you if you don't mind socket head screws. I personally prefer socket heads to slotted screws and here are some pics of the socket head replacements on my R9..........
