As soon as I get my gift package from Dez I will set up and see how they shoot. Have many other pellets to try against them as well. So should be a good day of shooting!

I tried the .177 hollow point and domes in my 1985 & 2004 Daisy 953s no luck but the 2004 953 does not like any heavy pellet much except Barracuda hunters ( but about 1.3' holdover at 25 yards) and the 1985 953 well it only like a few (AA 10.3 are amazingly good 5" holdover 30 yards and one hole if I do my part).
I have my 1377 carbine torn down right now to become a MK1377 and still have not tuned my 2100 yet so as I get things done I will be able to test more...
The MK1377 carbine should be able to hit 900+ fps with 7.9 grain pellets so I should be able to test at different speeds... just need to get caught up on things after being sick for about a month...

I was just shooting some Bombs with the Disco in its new Emperor's clothing, and they are hitting very hard and pretty accurately with the new power setting. Can't wait till I go after some more p-dawgs.

well I now have the bombs giving ~.5" groups at 30 yards, problem is there are 2 separate groups... one at point of aim and one about an inch low and 2.25" to the right.
with them being that far apart moving the heavy Daisy 853/953 barrel weight around might or might not get it to one good group.
I have not checked fps but from the sound I am guessing low to mid 600s.
Distance 30 yards.

With my personal experience, I think the Bombs and most definitely know the Destroyer like to go fast and hard. And they prefer being shot out of pcp's.

well I am running a disco barrel and am only down a couple fpe at 20.5-21 I guess that is just enough that you are getting out the barrel just ahead of harmonic probs with the bombs...
I put the 953/ 853 heavy barrel weight/sight on to get the 2 groups rather than a shotgun so I know for sure it is harmonics... might be able to get better with the weight in just the right spot...
I went conservative on valve size and think if I redo the valve a bit larger and use the 24" inch barrel I have instead the 22" I just might gain that couple fpe that the bombs need.
you are running your disco at about 23 fpe still..?
I have about 10" of barrel past the barrel band... not much different than a disco
the destroyers well I do get the feeling they do want at least 25+ fpe but I might get lucky and get them to work with the Marlin barrel at 23 or so fpe..?

Yeah, I was running about 23-25fpe. When I put my Disco in the stock, I had to use my MellonAire RVA and it is deeper than my HPASports RVA, so I had to run a heavy 22XX spring that is heavier than a stock 22XX spring & longer than a stock Disco, so now running even faster. Will chrony to see.

Just got back inside from shooting some .177-cal domes and hollowpoints in my MM-tuned XS-25, thanks to the generosity of ezman604 :-)
This gun shoots around 13-14 FPE, and I've had good luck with Winchester 9.7 gr hollowpoints in the past. I don't shoot so much for groups most days, but when I do it generally groups under 0.5" at 15 yards, and under 1" at 35 yards. I'm sure it could probably do better with premium pellets and a better shooter than I. Mostly I just like to hammer away at spinner targets around the yard, and the occassional ground squirrel or starling.
HORRIBLE conditions today: 40F, overcast, blustery winds from the left, gusting between 15-25 mph, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway.
At 15 yards, the domes were just awful. 1.5" groups, mostly vertical stringing. I didn't even bother shooting 35 yards with that one.
The hollowpoints showed promise at 15 yards, so I figured I'd try a 5-shot group at 35 yards, trying to shoot during lulls in the wind. Wind drift took the pellets about 3/4" off the bullseye, but they seem to hit the same POI as the Winchester HP's I use, and held 1" groups. Knowing my windage, I proceeded to nail a 1.5" spinner at 35 yards 4 out of 5 shots, with the 5th shot taken by a wind gust.
I also tried them in a Benjamin Discovery, bone-stock except for me removing two coils from the hammer spring to gain shot count at the expense of a little velocity. With 7.9 gr CPHP's, it's a sub 0.50" gun at 15 yards, and under 1" at 45 yards.
It also did not care for the domes; it was still exhibiting a lot of vertical stringing at 35 yards to the tune of 2". It did better with the HP's, shooting 1-1.25" (including a few wind-induced fliers) at 35 yards but I'm going to save the remainder for a calmer day to draw conclusions with this gun.
Overall, I like the hollowpoints enough that I might order a few tins. If ordered 4 at a time, they're under $8/tin even with shipping. That hollowpoint looks like it should be wicked on small game to boot!

With the mid powered springers I tested with the results were horrible. Besides the issues trying to just LOAD them into the breech, they made the guns like shotguns. LOL
I used springes to have a consistent power source for stable test results. If I can get a bit of time this weekend, I'm now curious to test these in a couple of PCP's that have a bit more juice. Will see if there are any redeeming qualities from these pellets when fired from other airguns.

Received some test pellets from Dez. Measures then with my caliper and I noticed something... The bomb pellets have a smaller head and a larger skirt. They do have a deep divot in the rear. This may help the body open up to fit each barrel. The destroyers are nice, and very evenly the same diameter until the cone. These also have a shallow divot at the rear.

I checked fps of a bomb in my MK1322 with the same pumps that gets 750 fps with 14.3 Benji hollow point and was at 558 fps so If I go to work and get it sending the 14.3s at 800+ again they should get about 600 fps. I will also be going for more valve volume then which should give a small boost also...

anyone try shooting the destroyers or the bombs in 22 from a hatsan at44 at about 35 foot pounds or so?
bought a few packs of these in diffrent calibers and styles today for my airguns
i have single and multi shot but was hoping these will fit a at44 magazine with is about 9.4 mm if i measured correct
im fairly sure ill have bad results except from pcp guns and some higher power np rifle i have
wonder if they will make a destroyer in 25 caliber?

I have shot the Destroyer out of my .22 Sumatra carbine. In fact, I was the first to use them on a hunt and I hit a P-Dawg at 190yds, then another at 170yds.
I have also successfully shot the HP, Pointed and Domes. The Bombs I haven't hunted with yet. I would like them in a bigger head diameter.
