Anyone successfully fitted sling swivel studs or a bipod to a hatsan at44 synthetic stock?
Not sure how well the plastic will hold up to a self tapping screw?
Thanks, Neil

I seen a video on YT today with a setup using these and worked pretty good. Was attached to a synthetic stock on a air rifle.

I had a bipod attached to mine but removed it. The material held up well, but I didn't use a self tapping screw, I drilled a hole & used a sling stud & nut to mount.
Used the same bipod the exact same way on the BT, & its been there over 6 months with no ill effects.

Ratpacker,
I have fitted QD [Uncle Mikes] swivel studs to all my air rifles. The Hatsans, have a Barrel ring stud on each of them.
I measured about 2" from the butt pad joint and drilled [VERY CAREFULLY] a smaller hole than necessary [if you'd do it in wood].
Then I carefully screwed the stock stud in until it just became snug [and square to the stock]; you don't wanna over tighten them.
As for Bipods. I can't answer that part of your question. I use a sand-bag if I'm shooting from a table. Then of course, my hand is between the rifle's forearm and the sand-bag so I get accurate shots.

I bought a bipod for my AT-44 10 but found that I had to punch out the swivel pin from the anchor stud and then drill out the stud hole to nearly 4mm to take the studs of the bipod. Once the bipod was fitted, a sling attached easily to the bipod anchor point.
