Delrin sleeve Scope ring size reducing inserts.

 Ever have 30mm scope rings mounted and decided to use a 1" scope. Now you don't have to remove the 30mm rings and install 1" rings. What a hassle! Now you can buy a reducer sleeve to fit almost any scope tube size you may have, without ever removing your 30mm or 1in scope rings.

15$ for the pair, if one had more expensive rings it would make sense to try this. 
I am not a good enough shot that cheap rings are taking away much from my ability, so I don't spend more than 15$ on them.

I will keep it in mind (thread tagged) should I ever upgrade to quality rings AND a upper end scope.

 I don't see where the cost of scope rings or one's shooting skill's plays into the use of scope sleeve's to prevent removing scope rings to install a smaller tube scope. Some of these odd size rings are hard to find. To me installing a sleeve into a ring would save time and wear on rifle and scope rings. The price could be prohibitive for some, but I pay whatever it takes for my equipment provided, it serves the purpose needed. I work hard to earn my money and try not to waste it, either. JMOO or .02￠

I have bought a couple sets of inexpensive 30mm rings that came with 1" sleeve adapters, very handy when changing scope sizes. I too think though that those from Brownells are a little expensive at $15, that's around what I paid for rings with adapters.

I can get rings for 10-11$ , saves me 4-5$ by just buying new rings and tossing the others aside until I need them.

 I didn't see a 1" to 7/8" adapter in any of those cheap scope rings.  I guess my point of not removing, or installing rings was missed or totally ignored.  KiSS was my idea of not needing to buy rings or especially not removing a set of rings that are tried and true.  Cheap rings are just that cheap. Typically they cause most of the scope problems here and I simply wanted to eliminate wonder of whats going to happen after I install cheap rings.  Buying reducer sleeves are simple to use and prevent buying new rings and their possible problems.
