Hatsan Striker Edge Trigger modification walk through!!

Finally got around to doing "left eye's" fix for the 1st stage on my Webley (same as the Striker and Edge). I'd already installed the longer 2nd stage adjustment screw (8mm?) and combined with the new screw in the trigger I now have an outstanding trigger. Every bit as good as the Quattro in my 95, if not better and that's saying something. I now have a short 1st stage, then the bump, then a very nice clean break. The way it should be from the factory! It's safe as well. Safety works fine and you can bump the stock on the deck all you want and no misfire. I did have to take the "tab" down a bit to clear the pin in the trigger. Now I need to take care of the trigger in my 2 Edges.

i just did this to a edge 25 cal . its perfect upgrade trigger really nice now shoots great groups  thanks

I just ordered the last two Woodfield Welsh Will replacement triggers for the Hatsan Striker. I like my Hatsan Edge but my efforts to tune the trigger have been less than hoped for, so this is a good find. I've always wanted a .20 break barrel but the Hatsan Striker trigger and the price of an HW95 have caused me to think twice, now I'm ready to buy the Hatsan.

Always wanted a .20 myself but could never justify the price on a Weihrauch or Beeman R9 although I still may cave one day, so when I saw the Webley Valuemax .20 which is basically the same rifle as the Striker/Edge/1000 Hatsans and it was $100 and free shipping on Amazon, I grabbed one knowing I could easily do the trigger mods after OldCorps and I spent a bunch of time finally sorting it all out between SteveWonderful's original post plus everything we did with the 2nd stage screw mod and make it a nice shooter.

Sorry for the mini necro-bump, I wanted to post that I tried the screw replacement in my .22 Vortex Edge and it worked great. I got frustrated with the rifle even after the "trigger job" because I couldn't find a hold that would allow it to shoot consistent, so I didn't shoot it for about six months. I just decided to give it a try again the other day, took the scope off and re-tried a few holds, and lo and behold it is now shooting hard and accurate with open sights and the classic artillery hold! It's one of my favorites now, definitely my favorite for making applesauce and ^*%$#@ off fireants.

Actually the main reason I wanted to post is because I was only able to buy a 14 pack of the screws at the local big-box store, my .25 Vortex Edge returned from being fixed at Hatsan with the trigger job done it seems, and I don't plan to buy any more Hatsan rifles, especially not cheap ones, so I have 13 extra of these screws. PM me if you want one or two. M3-.50 x 8. Phillips unfortunately, but beggars can't be choosers No charge, I imagine there must be a few other airgun enthusiasts out there who want to try this but live way out in the boonies or are on a very fixed income, so I'm just trying to pay it forward.
