Best .22 for under $200. Help me decide.

  You are not just getting the rifle in that deal you also are getting scope and rings as a package deal. The D34 is an excellent break barrel . There are a few that may be better but not many. Not that the Hatsan is a bad choice just remember that no matter the choice some TLC may be required to get the most from any of the low or mid price range rifles or for that matter even the higher priced guns.

I have some experience with airguns but not to the experience you guys do. I am seeing that's a great deal especially with a scope and tune but  I don't want to be hard headed since I came here for help.  I need someone to tell me why a RWS 34 would be better than the Hatsan 95. I understand I am breaking budget here but I want to the pros to outweigh the cons. I guess what I am saying I just want someone to help me justify spending $100 more. I'm sorry if you guys see the uneven comparison but like I said please be patient I am not as seasoned in the Airgun community lol.

Have Mike detune him a XS-25 in .22. He did one for Betty Lou that is nothing short of incredible. BTW... a detune is reversible when they grow out of it.

Take a look at the Browning Leverage, an underlever with a nice scope for $199.

  The same gun is available from FD as the XS46U for $125. With full tune or with gas piston (which includes the tune) for $225.

I think that pretty much all breakbarrels under the $200 mark are built with a similar level of quality, regardless of where they were built.  At the upper end of this price range, they may be a little more powerful, but you are probably not going to find that magic balance of quality of materials/worksmanship and power under the $200 mark for a factory gun.  I would reccommend something from flying dragon, with a full tune.  Pick his most powerful model that you can get with a full tune in the ballpark of $200, and for your money you won't find a better hunter.

2x on the Browning Leverage.  Needs some trigger time to break in but it is worth it.  Very nice scope included.  Having the "Browning" name on the gun and scope and their logo engraved on the stock is kind'a special too.  Good luck on your decision.
