Tune or trade It?
I have a Disco Double that I bought used. It came quite accurate.
I shot it using CO2, it was used with HPA previously. I got a HPA tank and switched to air. Had some leaks then and replaced orings. Now no leaks. I installed a marauder trigger. I made no other changes. Now I cannot get a group much under an inch at ten meters. I'm sure it's not the barrel as it shot very well when I got it. I have tried everything I know (which isn't much).
Would you have it tuned by a pro or trade it? If you would tune who would you send it to?
Thanks
Judd

Not knowing what "everything" means to you, I have one recommendation: CLEAN the barrel thoroughly using a good solvent like frog lube or hoppe's. Clean it until the patches with solvent come out nearly clean. Then shoot at least 50 pellets before expecting good groups.

I say this behind a well guarded wall
.... Run a BRASS bore brush down the bore a 1/2 dozen times followed with patches ... Shoot it some more and see what ya get

Judd,
I agree on cleaning the barrel first, but do not use a Solvent based cleaner.
Use a CITRUS based cleaner, and patches .
follow with a few dry patches. they can still have a little grey on them.
also, you do not say what type / weight pellets you are shooting.
This can make a big difference.
Also, you can check the breech seal for any damage / leaks, (tissue test), and check the crown on the barrel (Q-tip test).

Some success. Cleaned barrel with 4 swabs of alcohol and they came out BLACK. Ran dry patches then 4 juicy Froglube patches and then dry patches. The barrell was really dirty.
I have been using JSB 18.13 although I have tried many others these seem the best. As long as I had theTKO off for cleaning I did some test shots. Not too bad, under 1/2" at 10 meters. Then I replaced the TKO. POI changed and group opened up to over 1" scattered. Will have to experiment more with the TKO. I HAVE 3 others on different guns. So have identified two problems and will keep trying. I don't accept 1/2" at 10 meters.
Thanks for all responses.

Pull the TKO and shine a light through it look for pellet clipping the TKO That will cause your issues. Had that with my brothers RS II .25. Before installing the LDC 3/4" groups at 50 yards after installing LDC could not hit water standing in boat. Removed the LDC and saw lead deposits at the exit of the LDC. Rat tail file and 20 minutes of gentile adjustment of the exit orifice problem solved . Back to 3/4" at 50 yards again.
