Beeman R10 Base/Rail

I inherited a Beeman R10. It's in perfect condition but needed a scope.
I bought a great scope that came with rings. The only problem is the rail that came mounted on the Beeman is only 1/2" wide so the rings wont grab it. I wanted to replace it with a standard rail, but the rail on the Beeman has a tab on the bottom that fits into an opening in the top of the rifle. A standard rail would leave some of the hole exposed.
Has anyone run into this issue?
Are there alternate rails for the Beeman R10? Or do I buy rings that will fit the R10 rail?

The Beeman has an 11mm dove tail mount and your scope probably is equipped with a set of Weaver rings so either get a dove tail to Weaver adapter or I would just replace the scope rings with a set of 11mm dovetail rings . Just get a set of good double strap rings maybe BKL
