My Gen. 1 in 0.22 has a TKO on it.
All most Hollywood,
The hammer strike then the IMPACT strike.

Would love to also put one on my Gen. 1.5 in 0.177
But,
I'd like to find a cheaper one that also works

I think they ship regular USPS with a 3-5 day lead time before shipping.

They are not super fast, but not radically slow either. They answer quick with any questions and make a quality product.

Do you think this will make it quiet enough to need a depinger? So far the shot is so loud I have never heard any ping from the airtube.

I get the "ping" in my disco with a 7.5 TKO. But Its NOT offensive and doubt its herd much past the shooter. I kinda like it.

You mean the TKO? I ordered that via the website then I emailed him as I forgot to indicate caliber and wanted to make sure I picked the right one.

The short:
I love it, everyone should own one.

The long:
My Gen 1 has some rough spots, the bolt to receiver fit is poor. That is fixed in Gen 1.5, and one day I will sleeve my receiver or install some buttons to center it.
I had a leaky poppet, but Mike was fast to send out a new one. That is again fixed in the Gen 1.5, since they have the Gen 2 Valve.
This was my first adult airgun, I had no trouble taking it apart to install the new poppet. If you ever played with legos as a kid, did any major car repair, or work in a field that has any hands on work at all it will be pretty easy for you to do.
I weigh a whopping 150lbs, I sit at a desk 90% of my day, and pumping to 1500 psi is a breeze. Does not even get the heart rate up, unless I were to shoot it all the way down to empty. Which I never do. I pump to 1500psi and shoot to about 900psi. Less if I remember my shot count

I bought a .177 Gen 1 and a .22 barrel for it with every intention to swap them as needed. My only regret so far as been not getting two of them. I will if I can swing it get a Gen 1.5 and my Gen 1 can become a dedicated .22 gun. First I want a chrony, but I just bought that TKO so maybe next month.

The pump comes with instructions that might as well be a prank. If you are at all mechanically inclined you probably won't need the instructions, if you need them there are some on Mikes website that are pretty good.

When I bought mine I emailed Mike and he said to send a paypal with what I wanted and my address in the notes field.

You can, but PayPal charges a fee for that. I think he also takes USPS money orders and maybe even checks. I would call and ask.

YES no [problem.

REMEMBER when using PP. They are NOT AT ALL GUN FRIENDLY!! Be vague and use phrases and adrevations "we" will understand. I like to start with "Your GTA friend" then model numbers of other things not recognizable as anything gun relative. But of coarse that the seller will understand. Otherwise email them separately with instructions and refer to your vagueness on PP.

Pay pal will allow non members use as well, but you need to use tour credit card. I have used it for many years taking pmts from members and non members alike. Its quick easy and secure all you need is a internet connection.

I don't want to scare anyone...but accounts have been frozen closed and cancelled. I have had one good friend this happened to and spoken to a couple others. I am NOT talking anything illegal here either! They really are RABIDLY anti gun people. Knowledge is power, just better to be safe than sorry I like to say.

Generally speaking I avoid such folks but need this service so I try to fly under the radar.

I hate to side with anyone like that, but I bet if you are running a service like paypal the legal risks are huge. We see this in our business all the time, there are things we would love to help customers with, but sometimes the risks are simply not worth it. They might also just be nutters.

I finally got the tko installed and the change is massive. Not silent, but better. I can finally shoot in the basement without hearing protection. I think if I had less hammer it would work even better. I hope to get a 1.5 to put it on and another for this gun in .22.

It did take 3 weeks to get, but with this weather and the XS60 based airguns not being the most popular I think that is pretty good.

Personally the plastic construction is a plus, proves it is not meant to be something it is not.

Another "one for the everyone" should have one column. To those who say it costs a big portion of the guns cost all I can say is that it is well worth it to me. I am sure for you guys in florida and california who can shoot outdoors all year it matters a lot less than it does to me in my basement.

Installed mine also - screwed on easily. It is very quiet - prob one of my quietest air rifles so far. The issue is the lack of a front sight, anyone got any links to someone who manufactures them? Don't want to chop the stock sight off!

Mike has extra front sights. Just cut one and glue it on.

Mine is very quiet if I keep the hammer strike down, if you max it out it starts to get a bit louder. Nothing like it was before.

Being the cheap guy I am, I just made a sight out of a Lowes paint stick I found in my garage:

Cheap and a bit flimsy, but it works great! My groups at 12 yards are less than a quarter inch, almost hole on hole shots with open sights. I know this isnt even taking advantage of the potential of the gun but its amazing how easy it is to shoot the FDPCP compared to my springers!
