Tetrta Grease Products?

Has anyone used tetra grease on there air guns? It was suggest to me by a friend that uses it on his high powered weapons. I have only used it on my crossbow trigger. I know there are certain parts of the air gun that require regular attention of lubrication. Would it do any harm to the gun parts of an air gun to use this type of product? What would you recommend?

I cant speak on whether it will hurt orings but it wont hurt any hard parts.  I have used it for years on powder burners and plan to use it on my new condor ss when I go to maintain it as well.

I do not know if it would hurt O-Rings or not.

Though it may work out for a springer.    Do NOT use a grease in a PCP, CO2 gun, or Pumper.   For those a liquid oil is important.

I just got my Crosman 101 back, and whoever had it for the last 18 years had used a grease of some kind, now I am in the process of tearing it down to clean it up, and replace all seals that have been damaged, form gunk not getting cleaned out (thanks to the use of grease).

You can use the 100% silicone divers grease ( and other comparable products) on PCP O-rings within the gun.

Where had it been for 18 years?  Was it stolen or something?  Just curious.
