The nobless in walnut looks like it was assembled and finished as good as an AA s510, but at like  $500 less, my only question is will the noise be as quiet as a fully shrouded barrel should be.

that means they don't know how to make an effective shroud? If they only copy hatsan they'd have a very effective one.

It means they actually have their own philosophy in building airguns, Short length, Power and light weight.

There's tons of aftermarket LDC's out there you you wanna make it Quiet,....and by default longer, there's no escaping Physics.

Shrouds/LDCs are not rocket science everyone can make them. the principle is simple,....Koreans choose to keep the package short with a minimum of baffles.

Isn't a rainstorm more powerful than 40 some FPE (WWA says .22 is 40+ FPE, thought a rainstorm was like in the 50-60 area).

shouldn't this mean the shrouded JKhans will be more quiet than the Evanix range?

Yep power is always a factor in noise, that's why the 30 FPE guns like the Marauder are so quiet,...barrel length is a factor too, longt barrel are way quieter than shorter.
