Lots of pellets through these guys in the winter months, I can hit just about anything at 35ft. in the basement. The Crossman 2260 has a little more power, just re-sealed the QB 78 after probably 10,000 shots, nice easy guns to work on. C02 is so much fun, no pumping, breaking barrels, etc. Thinking on a thumbhole stock repeater QB for even more laid back shooting (just snap clips in).

There's nothing like an indoor range up in cold country....Similar deal down here, except that we like to come in for the AC in July and August.

Hello Rich, welcome to GTA. Nice looking pair of CO2's. I thought it has been warm the last couple days. You need to get a Pumper so you can enjoy the great outdoors.

High 60s low 70s & very little wind here today, shot all my guns and they are accurate to 70 yards still. I did make 1 mistake, I switched scopes on my TX200 & HW97K. The HW97K is just not made for a Hawke 8-32X56 like the UTG 4-16X56. I will change it back next weekend if I do not get to wrapped up shooting the CZ200S that is due in tomorrow. I was told my spring piston guns would be spending a lot of cold dark closet time.

It was a very warm 34 today. Wonder if Jesse is complaining it was to hot there?

Got a couple of pumpers, the 397 .177 cal. is very nice, I've had good luck with it, and very accurate with the iron sights, good little gun for the woods. I'm starting to get partial to Co2, and like the idea of repeaters, I'll probably end up with a PCP version. What can you say about the little Crossman's , everyone has one of those. I like the earlier models.

  I am still getting familiar  with the RX2 .177 but I have to say that if you are looking for a 20 FPE break barrel that is as accurate as a fixed barrel this has   got to be it. Even less than 500 through the barrel this bad lady is beginning to stack pellet in 1 tight hole I know 10 yards doesn't count but this is fast becoming my favorite break barrel. I may convince my Father in-law to try the D34P for his light pesting since it is superior to the Gamo Whisper

I like shooting anything I 've got. To just relax and think my old re-built XS B4-2 under lever never fails. Of late I've enjoyed my Hatsan Dominator 200s carbine easier to shoot than the bigger Hatsans, not as tiring as the 155 and 135. Also I recently bought a QB78D converted to pcp from a friend. My first pcp. Seems it's been raining for a month. Yesterday got out for a couple of hours with a new TF M12. All I got accomplished was it broke the scope. Today it was Sunny 63 degrees. Took the M12 and another scope, my old TF89 and my Winchester 1000(both pawn shop finds) tested pellets, chronied, re-zeroed the scopes. When my eyes got tired started killin' plastic golf balls off of T's, wine corks  and cat food cans on my little 23 yard range. Shot from noon till 530pm. Good stuff for a Sunday afternoon.

Our basement range is the only way we can shoot throughout our long cold and dark north country winters. For me, it's mostly pistol shooting with any one of our five air pistols, shooting them for score from a standing position, no rest, 10 meters. It is very challenging and it does wonders for shooting our PB pistols when the weather permits.
