Beeman RX2 .20 Favorite pellet

  Ok I need some input from the RX2 experts I have some sample tins the previous owner sent along with the rifle the 2 best so far have been  JSB match Diabolo exact 13.73 gr and the H&N Baracuda 13.58 gr pellets and the H&N's seem to have the edge on accuracy as of now but the rifle is still sending smoke signals with only 300 rounds through the barrel. Paul F only sent about 200 through her before he crossed over to the dark side

So my question for all of you with 20 cal RX2s is what pellet gives the best results for yours . I will be ordering some pellets in the next few days and really don't want to order any stinkers. Thanks in advance Don

They don't make a lot, JSB's always worked for me.

JSB exact then H&N Barracudas/Beeman Kodiaks---the JSB's are extremely accurate the H&N and Kodiaks are accurate and there's less than one grain difference in weight but the design is slightly different, too.

Shoot heavy pellets for a while and don't worry about velocity. The ram strength shouldn't lose power over time like most wire springs will. Shooting heather pellets will increase the air preassure During the firing cycle and force the parachute type piston seal to expand a bit more and eventually it will 'squeegie' the dieseling grease off of the compression tube walls. It may smoke a little heavy at first ( burning the remaining lubes off) but it will subside and shoot more consistantly. Last think, turn the chrony off and put it back on the shelf give it a week or two and just plink for now.

If you hang around me you will smell smoke. Usually Camels.
