If you like American pumpers and have never read this book, try to get a copy.I bought mine with 2 other air gun books off e bay for $10.00 years ago. James passed last year and now his book is going for $40 to $50 bucks. Anyway he had a doctorate in chemistry and I believe quantum mechanics (whateve that is !) He tested all the American pumpers that he could find and did an extensive report on each one, accuracy, power, etc. with many popular pellets.I have just rebuilt a old metal receiver daisy 880,and a Crosman 2100. His book inspired me to dig these out and get them running again,(I also have grandsons who like to shoot airguns with Papa)
"Spooky action at a distance" sounds like something made up on a cheap sci-fi show, but it was just a bad day for naming stuff. It's real - or the theory, at least. Isn't this the same thing as quantum entanglement?

Also it is the study of the state nature of such components, and the universal interaction of such things (EG string theory). That was a bit of an oversimplification, though I have been told that my completely accurate explanations of such things go over the heads of those that have not studied Quantum Mechanics, or at least particle physics.

The recent experiments involving transporting light from place to place are fascinating.Very cool and weird stuff.Bryan
