Is that thing for real?
And what is up with all the hush hush bout where to get them?
Marketing technique... maybe.
All the same, any of you guys hear of it?

It's a "muffler" for air guns I saw on the net.
There are forums about it and people seem to own them but never answer the question of where they got it....

It's a "muzzle brake" or "barrel shroud". See #11 here:

Don't know. When I do a Google search, I get a bunch of Goobtube videos of dudes getting hit in the nads. OUCH!! Just seeing the word nutshot makes my stomach hurt. By law, as long as it cannot be removed from the air gun and installed on a firearm and reduce the report by 1 decibel or more, it isn't a s*lencer.
I'm not going to discuss cans here. I'm not interested in running afoul of the mods/admins, much less of a particular alphabet agency that can ruin your life.
Shrouds and muzzlebrakes are a different story.
Your best bet may be to get a TKO muzzlebrake. The owners of them seem very happy with them.
I don't know. I have a Benji Marauder. It has an integral hush can barrel shroud.
If the owners of Nutshot products(which I've never heard of, but that doesn't mean much. I'm the last one to learn anything about anything) won't say where they got them, perhaps there is a legal reason. Perhaps the Nutshot is an illegal s*lencer and they know it.
I don't know. I'm a mushroom. They keep me in the dark and feed me sh**.

It appears that "Nutshot" was someone's username on a European ag forum. If you do a search for "nutshot s******r" you find mention of it on several such forums but most are not recent. Maybe you could sign up for one of them and ask those who are more familiar with this person. There are others mentioned as well. Maybe they'll be easier to track down?

Because of the large number of goobs posting stupid videos on Youtube. I fail to see the humor in getting hit in the gonads.
There is a lot of good stuff on Goobtube, but there's just too much BS on there to have to wade through.
Way too many idiots on there, trying to take themselves out of the gene pool.

At the risk of sounding like a perv, you sir, have some nice cans. Workmanship looks to be excellent. I like the style of your endcaps. Are they anodized aluminum/aluminium? I'm really starting to like the looks of the carbon fiber tubes.
Nice airguns, too. I especially like the 4th pic from bottom. Looks like a very handy hunting carbine.
Welcome to the forum and thanks for clearing up the mystery. It's too bad you are limited production, because you are an artist.
Cheers.

Hi Jaymo ,
Cheers for the kind coments
The end caps I make out of delrin which is a machineable plastic . Machines nice and is already black . I will be doing a few with ally endcaps in the future but there is no real benefit over delrin for those parts . Need to finish doing my anodising tank so that I can anodise and colour the aluminium then I can use ally for the tube too which is a lot cheaper than carbon .
Got to say though carbon is awesome stuff to make shrouds from . Its extreamly true and looks very nice just not cheap to buy .
The little carbine is a theoben mfr . normaly they have a 16" barrel but I cut this one down to 8" and made the carbon shroud . Its a great little hunter to use out of a 4x4 and hasn`t lost any accuracy from the barrel chop . Total length is shorter than a crossman 2250 .

Hi Bwana
Heres an aluminium 1/2" screw on LDC Ive been making . Still in the white but I`m going to shotblast it and anodize it black next weekend . The slots cut into the tube are going to be filled with stainless steel mesh and there is some wadding to go inside too .
Will put another pic up when its finished .
