Ever wondered if your scope was installed right?

Check this out.  I've just tried it and it is easy to use. I will shoot at my next range day and see how it worked.

Or.... you can just hang a string, with a weight on the end, from a door post and get the same result, but free. Wouldn´t buy anything, that is pointless and only exists to not so good money from peoples pockets.

I use a level to make sure the receiver is straight up and down, then hang a plumb bob about 10 yards out. Adjust the scope from there to match the plumb

WOW $46 plus S/H when I do it for free by hanging a plumb bob and leveling the gun. Leveling the gun would be required for either method and is the most important part of the process. If you do not take the time to accurately level the breech of the gun alignment of the crosshairs with the plumb bob line or the slot in the $46 tool is a waste of time.

It is a very nice looking tool but the plumb bob method is very accurate and I would rather use that money for pellets or something else that is airgun related.

Well everyone has chimed in.  This tool in itself does not make sure the sights are correct.  It does make sure the scope is perfectly centered vertically over the barrel.  The rest of the procedure is using the plumb bob ect.

I've found the actions are usually pretty close to being installed in the stock correctly.  But with a 5/8" KZ  at 55yds there is no room for error.

I know my groups have tightened up since I used the EXD Vertical Reticle Instrument. You still have to align your reticle with something plumb, but aligning the reticle with the bore makes accuracy even better
