Thanks for the replies. I'll probably drill it out next time I pull the regulator. Since I hadn't really shot my Marauder, I went ahead and installed the regulator and shot it over my chrony to see what it would do. The readings were not at all what I was hoping for. My regulator is set to 1600psi. I shot a 40 shot string with a spread of 80. I shot four 10 shot strings with spreads of 22, 8, 30 and 53.I have adjusted anything else on my gun yet, so everything is at factory settings. I'm shooting Crosman Primiers 14.3 grains.Does anyone have any ideas why my numbers are that high?
There is MUCH more to getting an effective and effecient tune than simply placing a regulator into the action mechanics.HIGHLY suggest reading Specific MARAUDER regulation posts !! .... They ARE NOT a Disco !!!
