7 mm Condor
«

Here is the beginning of my 7 mm condor. The plan is to have it setup to run on 4000 psi. Still have to work on tank/chamber setup.
Barrel is 37" TJ's 1-14. Barrel has a full carbon wrap all the way from where the hammer stops when cocked to the muzzle.
I have to put the bushing in my indexer before I machine down the step on the bushing. Then barrel will get put in indexer and dimpled through the carbon to the barrel.
.040" from hammer to .550" from end of the one piece bushing. Then it is .084" thick. I bored the end of the .084" .625" deep and it slides over the .040".

Nice to see the progress, I hope mine will follow shortly.... Is your barrel 9/16" OD, and what sizes of CF tubing are you using?....

Thanks everybody.
.040" under the bushings and .084" out to muzzle on the thickness.

You still need to start with an OE frame or have you found an aftermarket extrusion yet?
I have run into a few PB guys who have gone and had custom extrusions made. For what you do it looks like a useful path. It would also allow some stiffness to be added, or to allow use of a better trigger group perhaps.

Yes still uses AF frame. But it will have the scope rail cut off and replaced with solid one. Then the sides will get caped off.
Both cocking knows will be on the right side..
