No but it is a .177 and a much less desirable gun as you can see the price difference on the .22 and .25, so a .30 would also not be a $550 gun. A BT65 in .177 should have never been made you have to do so much to get it down to a good fps . That gun is shooting way too hot for a .177 thats why they have to blow them out, that Cal is not selling.

Ah, yes I didn't see that option for Calibers.  Thank you for pointing that out!  I really have been waiting for a long time to get a big bore .30 or .357 preferably air rifle.  I have two Marauder's .22 and .25 and also a Benji .25 Nitro.  I was very unhappy with the design of the Benjamin Bulldog and that made me start researching and found Hatsan would soon be releasing them.

BT65 .25 new is right around 550 bucks...I'm just asking a simple question in what the price might be.  No reason to get snarky.

Didn't mean to sound "snarky" just asking a rhetorical question based on the information about the older QE models.

Yes Norm, With the .30 I can get that 90-100ftlb and still having a very nice fps, with the .357 I do not think that I will be able to get it to the mid 900fps like the .30 they are all built on the same platform. I want a .357 that can get to the mid 900's

Looking back I can see it sounded negative.  What I meant was since this is a new QE model and the 22 & 25 QE goes for mid $600 what would be your opinion of how much it costs?  Personally, I think it will be around $850 for the 30 cal and $900 for the 357.  The lowest priced repeating big bore available in the US right are from Evanix and theirs cost about $900.  They also just released a 30 cal which costs between $950 for the Rainstorm II to $12-13 hundred for the Sniper and Max Bullpup.  Boy I wish Shin Sungs were still available here, they have a 6 shot 357 for $600 but Airguns of Arizona don't know when they will ever get more.

I think I will sit on the sidelines for awhile and see how they perform. I really don't get a chance to hunt because of my schedule so right now I just do long range plinking.

I wouldn't say that at all, but I guess it's a matter of what an individual would be looking for in a gun. Plenty of accuracy & power in .177 with this platform.

Actually it doesnt take much to drop the velocity on the BT65. Some install a sail in the valve to improve the guns efficiency, but it isn't really absolutely necessary. I just plugged 4 holes to improve efficiency & turned down the hammer spring. I wouldn't call that a lot of work. Or one could just use the heaviest most accurate ammo available.
