That would sure make things easier and less chance of a major disaster jk
You should never need a stronger hammer spring when you install a regulator, in fact you are very likely going to have to reduce the preload, and possibly fit a weaker spring.... If you don't, you will almost always be wasting air....Bob
I have a Regulator from Milo74 in my Double tube Disco William

Thanks for clearing that up. It will be interesting to see how the op gets on.
Can you post a picture with the entire air tube showing the illustration is great otherwise. Thanks Don
Thanks sometimes I need to see something before the words become understandable for me. Now I will take the next step with greater confidence. Now when I do the teardown on the S510 it will not be as intimidating. I have only been playing with these things for a little over a year and a half and PCP for only 10 months

Typically you will have to play with the spring, transfer port size, and a few other things. I put my regulators in rifles that were 12 ftlbs and they were honestly a pain in the butt.If you're shooting for 12 ft/lb you do, but in the AA FAC models it doesn't take more than you can do with the power adjuster. In fact, with the AA, there is very little else you can adjust. I get 80 regulated shots at 18+ ft/lb with an ES of about 10 fps. I did little else but install the reg.is that with a RL? if so is your power wheel adjusted and not on full to get 18ft lbs?

The gentlemen asked for info and how it works, due to the fact that I explained it using the Disco (which is all I have with a aftermarket regulator install) I decided it best to for them to know the do's and don'ts as well to be safe. Not to be nasty or sound rude but if you would have followed the posting in this thread you would have realized that! Besides if you had done one already why haven't you explained or given examples of how its done, you know, not everyone has the ability to just do things as easily as others!Anything else!Thank you, have a nice day!William
