Anyone having any luck shooting the 25 buckshot in a marauder or Rs2?
I have shot them in .25 springs with no accuracy.
Plus in the 30 CAL and 9 mm can you shot pb lead?
Yes looking at the big bore.

Inconsistency in the diameter of buckshot is the big problem.... They can vary 0.006" or more.... You really need to cast individually to get a consistent size....

Have never gotten really great accuracy in .25 ball. Have had it shoot better than the worst pellets, but never as good as decent pellets. Even sorting it (as most #3 buck shot is pretty poor about being really round or keeping to the diameter standards of pellets) hasn't helped a great deal.
Have managed to kill a few critters with them, normally at close range and at night (like trash raiding ‘possums). The one advantage to ball is that even in the dark, while running, you can’t load a ball backwards.

I use to have great success in .22 using LOBO round balls. If you drive them too fast they're not as accurate - you gotta stay around 700 fps.
The #3 buckshot is too hard besides not being consistent. I thought about swaging some round balls because they're easy to load and don't really drift too much in the wind...the tooling costs more than I want to spend though
I might buy a buckshot mold though just to try it in my 1:22 twist barrel - I'm just not looking forward to cutting off the sprue with little cutters.

Only currently have 3 .25’s, only 2 are PCP’s (I try not to use ball in springers for various reasons)
QB PCP conversion with an LW barrel does well enough, but there is always one out of every 4 or 5 shots that is well off from it’s buddies. Still better than the worst pellets, but that’s not saying much.
Have a Hatsan PCP that likes them well enough to plink with if I slow the rifle down to plinking speeds.
So I’d use them if I didn’t have anything else.
Can’t think of anything they do better. They normally shoot SLOWER than their weight would suggest (meaning slower than a pellet of the same weight, aren’t as accurate as good pellets, tend to occasional fliers, and heavy weight (+30gr) .25 pellets penetrate deeper.
