just ordered 2 crosman custom shop 2400 kt what can i expect

i just ordered 2 crosman custom shop 2400kt  the 2240 got it with the 18 inch barrel thought by the time i did the mods myself id come out alot cheaper just ordering the custom shop guns, wasnt sure if i should have got the 24 inch or not.  what kind of performance gain with the longer barrel should i expect?  after that point id like to try to get around 600 fps what mods will i need to get there with the longer barrel, thank you all in advance, this forumn has been a hug help to me. id like to hunt squirrel with it in may and in texas needs to be 600 fps

While shopping at DICKS in Aug 2013 I saw a 2289g in the Dooms Day kit for about $70. It came with the 12" barrel and I quickly ordered a 24"barrel from Crosman along with the steel breach kit.
 In Nov I ordered the CCS 2400KT with 18"barrel and the camo stock in .22. I have lots of fun shooting these but wanted a little more range as I could see my CPHP 14.3gr pellets start to drop at about 25 yards.. I ordered the Disco combo rifle and pump in June of 2014 in 22. I've had no problems with any of these.
The Disco is good for out to 50 yards the way I have my scope setup. I'm wanting to order the kit to run my 2400KT on high pressure air when I have the funds.

That is so tempting, I have had one of those custom shop guns in my cart so many time and keep removing it.  I just can't decide between the 2400KT and getting a 1377 and making it a carbine.  I actually had both in the cart but just couldn't do it yet.  I either need a shove or kick in the butt.

I got another 2400KT sitting in my cart, maybe tonight after I had a few brews I will actually click the buy button.  In other news while stumbling around the internet last night I see on what I think they call the green forum that Crosman it planning to release the 13xx in the custom shop in the spring some time.  That is one of the reasons I had been holding back on the 2400 as I wanted to build one of them but I didn't like the cost associated with getting all of the extra parts.

2400KT with a 24" barrel should shoot like a 2260 at about 600 fps.  I have a 2240 w/steel breech and 24" barrel that does 615fps.  I added a boss valve and did some smoothing and polishing to the port and had the barrel done by Tim at Mac1.  The barrel has accuracy and power service done to it.  I am using the Hipac green hammer spring with RVA.  It is now shooting 735 to 740 fps on 12 gr carts getting 17 good shots per cart.  This is reaching out to 40 yards and is now my go to gun over my Disco 22.  I'm really enjoying the light weight.  I never thought co2 could smack this hard.

as i sit and wait, im waiting on my 2 blackhawks to arrive as well, im looking through scopes etc, the springers i have i shoot open sighted i may take the 2 scopes from my blackhawks and stick them on these guns, ive got 2 scopes from the ruger impacts i have as well. trying to decide on if i need mediums or high rings for the 2400kt
