First,
I REALLY like this rifle.
Granted, it's my first high end gun of any kind, air or otherwise.
Now, a few other things...
I'm getting through the first tin of 500 pellets, still have about 200 to go before I'll wipe the barrel out and see if it needs/wants any other cleaning or oil. I'm guessing it won't though.
Shooting JSB Exact, Jumbo Heavy (18.13gr). Have some of the Jumbo Monsters (25.39gr), but have not shot any yet to see how my aiming will need to change.
A few days ago I backed out to 50 yards for the first time. I'm pretty sure if I had a gun vice to lock everything down, this rifle would be making single hole shots over and over.
Obviously that won't ever happen on a hunt or even around home for pests or the target matches, so I still have a lot to learn and a lot of practicing to do. My trigger control is pretty good I think, I can feel two distinct stops on it right now. First when the initial slack is pulled in, and again but heavier right before it breaks and shoots. I haven't played with lightening or shortening anything up yet. On the wait list for Will P. to do a full trigger job, so I'll probably just leave it alone and let him do it all.
Breathing and holding everything still is the big thing for me to work on, especially shooting off hand vs from sticks. Even on sticks though, I can see the cross hairs floating quite a bit, which I know is normal. Also I notice more of a 'twitch' or bump that happens with each heartbeat pulse.
Here's a few of my targets though. Some of the images are still a little big even after resizing them down to 50%, still learning how to make things work best for the forum layout.
All set up and ready to go!
First string after mounting the scope to zero in at 35 yards. Didn't need any windage adjustment!
Five shot group after zero.
Had to re-zero after getting my Clague air stripper (LDC). Great product, amazingly effective!
Pellet trap I built with 2x6s and rubber mulch fill.
1st group at 50 yards. 7 shots, 2 fliers(or probably me being jumpy/twitchy).
2nd and 3rd group at 50 yards, left to right. 5 shots.
4th and 5th group at 50 yards, left to right. 5 shots. Learning the holdover, getting cold and maybe tired.
Again, I had never shot from 50 yards before. So I'm still pretty happy with those.
Other things I'm working on is a way to mount a bipod, not so much for shooting from, but to keep the scope and action up off the ground when I set the rifle down. I was going to use a ring style scope adapter which has two short picatinny rails on it. The one inch size fits the barrel shroud almost perfectly, a wrap of tape snugs it up. Aligned to have one rail on the bottom for the bipod, and the other 90 degrees up on the left side, for a flashlight for night pesting. Had a couple problems with it though. First, realized the the bipod acts as a lever on the bottom, and made it really easy to spin the shroud loose from the main body. Maybe some loc-tite would fix that and still allow things to be disassembled for cleaning. The bipod also ended being in the way of where I had been placing my shooting sticks, easy fix for that though, I'll just move the sticks.
Second problem I had was one of the screw holes stripped out, so now the adapter I have is trash. Oh well. It was cheap. So I'll either try a new one, or look for another option. The wood stock is really too thin I think, under the air bottle, to hard mount a rail or bipod bracket.

Did you clean the barrel first thing once you got the gun? They usually are really dirty straight from the factory. Nice shooting btw,

A pellet suggestion for you to try, at your discretion of course: Baracuda Match (5.53) & Eunjins 28.4's. The 32.4's too if they'll fit your magazine. They all shoot really well in my RS-1. You may want to clean up the Eunjins a bit though. They're not as bad as they used to be, but they tend to be a little dirty. The JSB Monsters didn't do so well in my gun, maybe they'll work in yours.
For some reason your pics aren't showing up.
Hey there they are! I couldn't see your pics earlier today, now they're there. Nice grouping in the second 35yd pic.

I had intentions of cleaning the barrel before the first shot, but when I unboxed everything, I just couldn't wait. Ha! So at this point, not noticing any real fliers that aren't due to my own shooting skills, or lack thereof, I'll finish up a couple hundred more shots to get to 500.
Also haven't had any problems with consistency or accuracy with the JSBs, but again I'm only into the first tin so far. I'll keep the Baracudas and Eugins in mind though to try at some point.
I think the picture issue may be because the image links are to an album on my photobucket account that I have set as private. I'll try to fix it later today when I have some free time.
**Pictures should be fixed**, can anyone not see them still?

Dave is correct, Baracuda and EunJin perform great out of those guns,
historically .22 Evanix barrels arent pellet picky at all and will shoot just about anything you use well.
if your rifle is stock you are probably sending those JSB out much faster than they like, if you get a weaker spring in the hammer and slow them down a bit your accuracy will improve dramatically

Those heavier Eunjins really do work well in the Korean airguns.
