while i'd love to have a Burris 3-12 AO pistol scope it's just not financially feasible . even $110ish for a simmons 2-6 LER is really really pushing it . i found WW sells the 2-7x32 pistolero for $43.35 ...

it get's pretty good comments over at OP and seem to be popular with the Mosin-Nagant PB's . if it handles the recoil of a deer rifle i think a crosman pumper should be no problem at all .

so what are y'alls thoughts about them ? i was considering a BSA 2-7x32 Edge Pistol Scope but it's almost $80 shipped and i don't wanna spend that much . plus at that price point i think the simmons 2-6 would be worth the $30ish difference

I had a 4x pistolero that was on a QB57 and I had no problems with it, just the eye relief was too long for that rifle. it had a fine reticle that was nice for precise shooting and the glass was clear. In comparison with other scopes it was well made.

I bought one for my 1701P, the scope os ok but I don't prefer it for my application. If you try to use it under 30 yards you will have to change the parallax focus. Since I normally shoot my pistol 10-25 yards that wasn't great for me. Also, I found the extra weight of the pistol/scope combo was harder to shoot offhand, and it was a little challenging to get consistent scope alignment. I took it off and put a Williams target sight on my pistol, and I'm happy with that.
If my comments haven't dissuaded you from trying one and you're interested in saving a few bucks on a lightly used version, PM me.

i wonder if it's a candidate for removing the locking ring and adjusting it down to play nice between 10 and 25ish yards ?

I forgot to mention that I did adjust the objective lens to get the parallax to around 25yds.
