I’m looking at the Benjamin Discovery and high pressure pump for my next airgun purchase.

I see Walmart has the gun pump combo for $349.00 with free shipping and or store pickup. PA & AGD who I have no problems have the gun combo for $399.00. Is there an advantage from PA or AGD on this one? Will they price match?? I like the idea of helping out PA & or AGD but fifty bucks is fifty bucks and I can put that towards pellets and accessories like a scope and case. I guess if I can get the 10 or 11% coupon it'll only be a difference of $10 or $15.00 which is much better than $50.00.

Well you could help support one of the GTA Vendors and go to http://discosrus.net/pcp-airguns/
I know we are a little more than Wal-Mart but the free testing is a huge plus.

See if you can get a FREE 12 hour pressure test plus a complete shot string over a Chony and the chrony printout included with the gun from any of the other mentioned places.

Looks like a difference of $23 , with the test and service it is a no brainer. $373 shipped.

It may be easier to deal with any kind of customer service with pyramid or depot..... not sure how walmart is when it comes to air guns in general, but like was said above I would rather support the true air gun company.

Got my Disco from Norm, no leaks or problems so far (knock on wood). Plus it's always kool to support one of the GTA brothers.

Just say no to Walmart! Id go with one of the GTA vendors Mac1 Discos -R-us, PA they all have out standing service. The extra few bucks you pay is worth knowing that your money is not going to a greedy bunch of #$$Holes. Support the small business owners, these people are you neighbors, family members, and loved ones. Its a no brainier. Give one of the GTA vendors a call they will answer the phone and spend an hour with you call Walmart you will get some guy that knows nothing about airguns and does not care.

True that, unless you live in one of those lucky states that ChinaMart hasn't invaded yet. Hope there's still one out there ..

Norm at DiscosRUs wants $373, shipped lower 48. As referenced above, his one will arrive tested. Assuming a 6.25% sales tax, which is the lowest in Illinois, that's $21.81 for the untested ChinaMart version.

So your choice, obviously, whether to give the Waltons another $370.81 to use for their purposes, or man up and send the extra $2.19 to an American small businessman for a good, tested, rifle.

Another thing to consider. These vender/members donate alot of the items you see on the monthly raffle that supports this awesome forum. They need our business to be able to do this. So, at the end of the day, you are really paying yourself when you purchase from them.

Another thing to consider, will WM even ship it to your locale? Awhile back I tried to order a Ruger Air Hawk combo for $79. Went all through the ordering process and when I logged in a pop-up claimed they could not ship direct or to their store "due to local regulations or shipper restrictions. Didn't matter that the local store carries the near identical Black Hawk in stock. No one in the store could shed any light on the situation. Calls to WM customer service didn't do any good either.

I've ordered from Pyramyd and Airgun Depot with no problems. So I can only assume that Walmart is having problems interpreting local regulations. Funny thing is they were all set to send me an RWS 34, no questions asked.
