I broke a trigger on my custom rifle that has a mrod group on it. I made a custom trigger for it some time back. This past weekend I broke another trigger on my pistol. I had started making 2 triggers when I made the one for the rifle so I finished it to put on the pistol.

That is mighty fine...looks a wee bit set back. How is it to get at the first stage adjuster screw? Not that I'd mind taking the cover off, and squeezing a shortened 1/16( or is it an .050"? )into place to dial it in.
cheers,
Douglas

It's a little tricky to get to but not that bad if you use a ballend wrench. If I make any more I have a few ideas to help with that. Here is a pic of how the stock trigger looks to the new one.

The more stuff I make the more I appreciate the stuff I see others make. I now have two A7, tool steel sears for the Gen 1 trigger group awaiting a heat treat. These will stand enough spring to kick open a substantial valve...
The next four are two ops away from heat treat...
cheers,
Douglas

Thanks guys. I have decided to use this one on my .308 build since the one I ordered for the .308 is the new version with a plastic side plate. This one is an all steel one. Just in case I need to put a really heavy hammer spring in the .308.
