Anyone have experience with Bushnell AR 3-12x40?

Shopping around for a scope to mount on a custom Crosman MK II that I'm currently building for PFT use and came across this one which interested me: http://www.bushnell.com/all-products/rifle-scopes/ar-optics/3-12x-40mm#

Yes, I know it's a rifle scope on a pistol, but for the sitting FT position (90% of your shots) I would actually prefer a rifle scope vs the longer eye relief of a pistol scope... . In Canada we are limited to a maximum of 12x magnification for PFT and this one supposedly focuses down to 10 yards so I think(?) it should work fine, but would like to hear any pros/cons before hitting the "buy now" button if possible.

So far I have narrowed my choices down to:
1) Bushnell AR 3-12x40
2) Hawke Varmint 3-12x44
3) Leapers SWAT 3-12x44 OR 10x44 fixed w/etched reticle

I just put the Bushnell on my NP2 - LOVE IT!!!
The reticle is calibrated for the 5.56 NATO, but can be used for pellets.
Very clear. Side focus is pretty good. I got mine from Fed Tacticle Direct for $128. Fast shipping, too.
And ALL Bushnells series Trophy and above are springer rated.

This scope is not rated to work on airguns. The minimum focus distance is 7.5 yards.

This is the e-mail that I received from Bushnell.  I think that any scope designed for an AR15 would work on a springer.

Any scope we make from our trophy line or above that has an adjustable objective will work for this.
