The statistical software doesn't matter what kind of gun or machine it is.
Marty2,I am happy to hear you still like the tune. Have you seen any of my posts on the custom hammer spring ? Recently I have got a 20fpe tune with 18.13 jsb's running a little over 20fpe with a 60 shot count with less than a 3% ES. 50 shots were 2.2% ES.Great tune for within 30 yards and take out just about anything under a raccoon.Still working on the springs but unfortunately my benji pump failed for the last time so I can't do anymore testing. I need air.....uuuggg
RDHJ,Write down your stock settings before changing them so that you have them if you ever need to go back to them. It also sounds like you do not need to be charging to 3000 psi for the 20 fpe tune either. What I have noticed when running a 20 fpe tune, you never get enough hammer energy between 2750 to 3000 psi to get a low ES through the rest of the string with a stock gun.If you do want that super low ES and shot from 3000 to say 1750 psi, I highly suggest you look into a regulator. Here's your tune criteria for what your asking for right now. Just charge to the test psi and record the fps for each test. No need to recharge between shots and only need one shot for each test.OK, I shot the four test and got some varied numbersTest 1 = 403.8Test 2 = 817.7Test 3 = 828.8Test 4 = 279.7This is a new pellet for my gun and after doing the test i left it on test 2 settings but with 3 turns on the spring instead of 4 to see if it would drop the velocity ( got 804.5) , I filled to 2500 psi, sighted in at 25 yards and started shooting field targets at 40 yards....hit it the first time and then i started missing....finally shot for a group on paper (at 40 yards) and it did not come out too good...Guessing 805 fps is not a good speed for this pellet for accuracy?
