R9 trigger

  i have a question here on the R9 trigger, i machined up a new fitted spring guide, so now the twang is gone, on my springers i have been using the ARH moly lube for the sear engagement points, i am curious if there is any lube that i slicker for this application, there are times when i feel a little creep, maybe something like once out of 20 shots or so. any ideas.

Chet, I've heard of guys thinning the JM moly with 30W non-detergent oil.  I did this using air tool oil and moly on the trigger parts of my Benji 392 and it worked pretty well.

Humm....I don't use any lube on my Rekord sear points except a bit of Ultimox 226 after the whole trigger unit was "blasted clean" with RemOil and then blown dry. A bit of molly lube also works well, however I remember Beeman literature of old stating that "molly is too slick for trigger sears". 

Generally the sear engagement/creep on a Rekord trigger is controlled by the "forbidden screw" in front of the trigger blade. It's a Torx screw (size T8) and turning the screw clockwise reduces the sear engagement. Much care must be used when messing with this screw because too little sear engagement will make the trigger unsafe which is why they usually come "lawyer proof" with a lot of engagement.
