Got out my Swiss Arms 1911 BB pistol today for a little shooting and thought it could use a small polish job on the barrel and barrel bushing retainer. I think it sets if off nicely against the black. Now maybe a nice pair of grip panels!

Nothing like a bit of elbow polish to set things off...

Like to do the trigger as well and add a few holes, like my Ruger 1911,but looks like a real pain to get it out of the gun.
Now maybe if I'm real carefull I can drill and polish without removing it?

Looks nice! What are your grip options? Any that would fit an 1911?

Grip panels from the real 1911 will fit with just a bit of a clearance cut on backside for the Co2 cartridge. I tried the ones off my
Ruger 1911 Commander.
Got the holes in the trigger today and will post some pics when mods are done.

It sure looks real. You can even see rifling in the barrel. Wonder if it would take a 1911 barrel bushing? It would tighten up the groups.

Got the trigger mods done and painted the plastic grips a stone gray color. The grips are a bit darker than shown due to camera flash. Later may find a nice pair of 1911 grips.
Here is a pic of how I did the trigger drill and polish without removing it from the gun. Got to be very carefull here!
Have another mod planned so stay tuned!
